Photo dump: INSTAGRAM [Part 2]

Here’s a second part (and hopefully the last part) of my Instagram photo dump for the past two months!

I have this thing for notebooks that I can’t explain. I like buying ‘em, but I feel disheartened to write on them? I guess I just like collecting them. Did I make sense? I’m running out of creative juices at the start of the post — this is bad.

Apparently, there’s a bright side to my bad haircut: CURLS. The layering that the hairstylist did was perfect for a permed hair. Unfortunately, it takes at least an hour to curl my hair. I don’t think I have the time and effort to do it every single day.

There goes the frog again. LOL. #thankgoditsfriday

The best hangover food. The food I will never stop eating. The food that will always make me drool. The food that I will not get over. BACON.

Remember PEMDAS from grade school Math? Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction. A friend of ours taught us the dance version. I should probably make a GIF version of this.

We were kicked out from our floor at work :( On the bright side, we were sent to a better looking floor!

Okay, forgive my egg for its failure in aesthetically impressing you. But it did taste good ; )

I know, the lighter looks cool. Winston released a new kind of cigarette out in the market just last month. Luckily, I have a friend who works at 7-11!

Ended up playing at Aimes Trimeet representing MEAns let alone that I already graduated and, even if I was still a student, I wasn’t a MEAn. HAHAHA

A very nostalgic-looking picture. I’m not sure why but I remember it as the happy days.

We were the “nerds” kids.

I couldn’t believe my eyes either when I saw my bill from Globe a month ago. Are you kidding me, Globe? I think unlimited internet surfing for P1799 means UNLIMITED INTERNET SURFING FOR P1799.

….it’s because I always have the strength to __________. Go fill in the blank ; )

Paid a visit to a place where I spent some of the happiest days of my life ; ) #highschool

Someday, when I’m older and independent, I will go back here. I will live here. I don’t know why my parents decided to leave this place and move to South. UGH.

When friends go out of their way to visit you at work, you definitely need to find a way of thanking them–especially when your work is late at night.

This is what I do when I get bored at 4 in the morning because that’s the only time my hair looks good–or maybe it’s that time of the day when you feel vain.

When you treat your parents out for coffee, you do it with love–or just money? : ))

Fun night for Opex members! Opex boys played basketball for a night out. Was it really basketball or was it track and field? I saw more of running than shooting. #halfkidding #ormaybenot

Free Starucks GC from the boss because I got lucky! My “tsamba” skills were put to a test during an Opex Team meeting. I didn’t know that shouting random numbers could end me up like this. I’m definitely shouting more random numbers next time : )

Never again will I take a crash course like this. Six Sigma Green Belt training was definitely the cause of my headache that week. Imagine Opman + Stat 5 days straight for 8 hours a day.

Ateneo Open core team getting their picture taken after a week long sleepless nights. I know, we don’t look like we were stressed, right? That’s because we were super thankful that it was finally done!

Sadly, we had work during the ADMU – UST UAAP championship. While the discussion for six sigma training was on going, Atenean officemates and I were checking our twitters for updates every two minutes. Erica even kept score on the board.

Bruce’s birthday celebration with the newbies. Yes, yes. Kind of cliquish–but hey, it wasn’t my birthday ; )

My lighter collection kept in one of my drawers. If you’re wondering why I have so many lighters, there are actually a couple of reasons why I keep on buying them: 1) I think I lost it but it was just in my bag all along; 2) I left it at home; or 3) I ended up stealing a friend’s lighter so I buy him/her a new one, but end up bringing it home anyway.

Ahhh… The girls I missed the most. After finding out that I was going to have an earlier shift for a week, I definitely took the chance to have a dinner date with these girls. Had fun that night!

Ateneo definitely knows how to celebrate a 5-peat championship streak. Congratulations to our most loved Basketball Team!

The week I lost 5 lbs without even trying. Seriously, I ate a lot that week. Weird body.

Fun night at Fiamma with AVC and the AMVT. One of the wildest, perhaps?

“You know I know how to make them stop and stare as I go all out, the club can’t even handle me right now”

The perfect excuse to take a picture of something: the perfect lighting.

On our way to our mini outing in Laiya, Batangas. There were only 5 of us but it was definitely an outing worth remembering. Oh there’s my “issue”photo with Jj : )

With my line of work, I don’t usually get to see the sunlight. I couldn’t help but photograph it when I got to see it again. Long time no see, sun!

I don’t like how I post-processed this photo. I could have changed the brightness, but I guess I was too lazy to edit it more at that time. I’m posting it anyway because it’s the bubble tea photo.

It was the night…. I slept right away after two games because I was so damn tired. I know, I know. I might be getting old : (

KFC’s celebrating the halloween early this year! When I saw the ad, I had to convince my friends to buy the bucket meal just to get the cups and straws. Now I don’t even remember where I kept them.

This is what you end up buying when you’re in desperate need of an underwear because you have decided to spontaneously sleepover at a friend’s house. #7-11panties

Do you see what I’m doing here? I’m willing to wake up at 7 in the morning just for you, VOLLEYBALL.

I want my bubbles :”> ‘Nuff said.

What my friends and I do when we get bored–we get on top of each other LITERALLY.

Photo Dump: INSTAGRAM

Okay, okay. I admit it. Ever since I bought a new phone, I became addicted to Instagram. I’m now INSTAGRAMHOLIC :> Since I wasn’t able to share you anything for the past couple of months, I’ve decided to post my instagram photos and put captions in them. Look at it as if I was telling you guys a story. Brace yourself, a lot of photos coming your way!

Went to Ateneo to visit undergrad friends and ended up attending the IAC GA for team captains. Can’t let go? : )

Meet Raina’s frog. Expect more of it because she likes drawing it on a loooot of things. Oh, and, look! There’s my “become a millionaire by 2013″ post-it : )

It’s been so long since I stared at myself on the mirror. I realized my hair was long enough to curl! I’ve decided to curl my hair before going to work. TADAA!

I’m not vain. I just like taking pictures of myself at 4 in the morning with goofy glasses when I can’t sleep.

I was so happy when I saw that our Ateneo Open Facebook page reached 1000 likes. I can’t express enough thank yous to everyone who supported us.

What I always ate and drank in Starbucks back in college: Honey Glazed Donut and Basic Black Iced Tea. Ever since I started working, I didn’t have the time to actually chill in Starbucks. While waiting for Erica’s shift to be over, I took advantage of the opportunity to bring back old habits!

Our favorite past time in the office: play Foosball. I’ve seen this in the movies, but I never thought the day will come when I will play with this myself. Fun to play with competitive friends : )

For the nth time in BARAS! We had a little grocery before leaving the civilization. I’m not sure what we were trying to buy at that time. Chips + Liquor + Softdrinks + Yakult + Cookies = ????

This is the first time I treated my family to lunch. It was my first paycheck and I think it is NECESSARY to treat everyone important in your life. P.S. Don’t tell your friends when you’re getting your first paycheck ; )

How we usually start our day at work: meeting in the pantry. This is when we talk about our planned trips and rants from the day before. #Ateneanofficemates

We had a “corporate” photo shoot for the OpEx team. I wonder where our photos are?

Oh, here’s the frog girl. In case you’re wondering what she looks like : ) BTW, she’s also El Presidente of our “dinner club”, named after our boss.

This is my new bestfriend. It doesn’t make me want to puke like Bacardi. It doesn’t make me feel dizzy like Jose Cuervo. It also doesn’t make my tummy bigger like Beer. Hello, Tequila Rose : )

The month I learned to play POKER. I just couldn’t stop O_O

I’ve always been the Serena type when it comes to hair and clothes. I just wanted to try Blair’s style for one night; hence, le headband.

Sometimes, I took pictures of my office clothes too! I forgot why, though.

Nothing makes you happier than hearing your boss saying, “who wants starbucks? My treat.” WUHOO. Health Team is very happy : )

All spent on Mom and Tina’s. Let me tell you something: IT WAS WORTH IT. I remember going back there twice in the same week.

Definitely missed this one. We used to see each other everyday because of training schedule and sleepovers. That reminds me… we should have one again soon!

There was a time I hated you because of BAD service, but you do know that I still love you right? I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of you.

More office clothes!

This is A. She’s my bebe. I don’t know what happened, but now she looks like a Siopao!

I was wearing plain colors that day. Just wanted to try out the black and white effect on the picture and see if there was a difference.

Some of the perks from being an OpEx member : ) #freebies

Craving for Yakiniku or any kind of Japanese food? Try Kobe-Kan! It’s along President’s Ave near B.F. Homes.

I’ve been collecting you for six years. Can’t wait for my seventh and fill it with new memories.

One of my worst haircuts ever. I told the hairstylist to cut my hair not more than 3 inches shorter. I guess he didn’t feel like following instructions since he cut my hair 6 inches shorter than it was before. I don’t even like the style.

…in the heat of summer sunshine, I miss you.

While walking around Alabang Town Center, my mom and I got attracted to this cake shop because of their delicate and beautiful cake designs. Little did we know that they didn’t taste as good as they looked. Too bad.

Bought this two months ago thinking I had the time to read. Apparently, I did not. So, it’s still in my bookshelf waiting to be opened.

Okay, I have to stop now. I’ll just probably do a part two or something. I got carried away and didn’t notice the time. I actually enjoyed looking at old photos and trying to remember what happened back then. Ahh.. life.

Hope you enjoyed the photos too! :)

BEACH VOLLEYBALL: Irresistible

I can’t remember the last time I went to Cantada Sports Complex. Stepping into the place reminded me of the days when I was so fit and tanned. Yes, it has been that long. Six months may not seem that long, but it does feel like it. Although it was my last-minute decision to not play because of my unusual work schedule, I decided to watch anyway. I didn’t think that it was going to take much energy from me to watch a one-day tournament. Did I have fun? Let’s just say that I made the right decision spending the entire day with these girls instead of sleeping at home :)

Everyone got bored waiting. Guess what we ended up doing?

Adamson Team 1 (Pau Soriano and Shiela Pineda)

Most of the games were fun to watch. I’m just not sure if it was because players were good or because I missed the game itself. I missed seeing the sun up high. Because of work, the only time I see sun is when it’s about to set. In fact, my nose got sunburned despite not playing. I’m that sensitive to sun now.

Sleeping Time!

At the end of the tournament, Dzi and Alyssa placed 4th, while Fille and Bea bagged the championship! Ate Karla and Sharah were able to join the quarter finals but failed to win for the semis. For both girls who haven’t trained for a long time, they were pretty good.

Glenda had a “fan” picture with the girls :) )

The rest of us watching took a photo too!

After the championship, we decided to have dinner at BCG. Unfortunately, the moment we left Cantada, the rain started pouring HARD. When we arrived Fort to find a place to eat, my flats, made of cloth, were soaked wet. I had to buy slippers from Ipanema (Ateneo Open’s sponsor, by the way) because I was having a hard time walking with those wet flats. While walking around, trying to find a restaurant with a free table, I bumped into a couple of old St. Scho classmates. I’ve been trying to see Heidi for the longest time, and there we were.

St. Scho batchmates + Glenda :) )

Very spontaneously bought slippers :)

FFF: Victory Party

I’ve never seen Fiamma this crowded with Ateneans before. I saw rookies partying here for the first time, old friends I’ve spent most of the time with in school, and alumni who were already in college when I was still in high school. The funny thing is, I also saw friends from La Salle, UP, and CSB. Everyone was celebrating the victory of the Lady Eagles. WHOOPEE!

MMMMHHHHMMM :) )

Congratulations to the Ateneo Women’s Volleyball team for bagging first place in the ninth season of Shakey’s V-League. You girls really deserve it! Thanks to Fiamma and Mikko Abello for the awesome party. I think it’s pretty obvious everyone had fun : )

All pictures are not mine.

9. Volleyball Addict

April 3, 2012

3:00 – 5:00 PM
Ate merienda at Bubble Tea in Tomas Morato with Jj, Chu, Kyle, Dzi, and Ty. Ordered the usual: Honey Dew Milk tea and Takoyaki!

5:00 – 5:45 PM
Went to the court beside Regis to play volleyball, but the net was just so bad that it was impossible to play there. It was too wide for the court and stretched badly.

5:45 – 6:30 PM
Attempted to look if College Covered Courts was open; CLOSED.

6:30 – 7:00 PM
Went to the Blue Eagle Gym to see if no one was playing, but when we got there, there was a small basketball league.

7:00 – 7:30 PM
Three of us went to different places in Quezon City to check if there were courts open. Finally, JJ was able to find a court, but it wasn’t free ’til 10 PM.

7:30 – 8:00 PM
Kyle, Chuck, and I went to Chuck’s house to get badminton rackets. Chuck’s room IS SO NICE O_O

8:00 – 9:00 PM
Half of us played badminton at Moro Lorenzo Complex to buy time. We still had two hours and we didn’t know what to do anymore.

9:00 – 10:00 PM
Ate dinner at Mc Donald’s.

10:00 – 1:30 AM
FINALLY. Played Volleyball.

Would do anything just to play volleyball–even if it’s almost 2 in the morning.
OHA? :)

Blue Roast 2012

It has always been part of the Ateneo tradition to send off their seniors through a gathering called the Blue Roast. Booths, booze, concert, freebies, and blue roses are just some of the things that you can expect in this awesome event. Normally I don’t attend school activities, but I promised myself during my freshman year that I was going to attend this one and will be with people whom I have been friends since first year college. So, I spent the afternoon with AVC friends and the rest of the night with Jem, Dzi, A, Sharah, Gretch, and Fille. Since I have been spending most of my time with AVC, I found my blue roast experience nostalgic. Definitely missed these girls! SHOCKS. It’s been FOUR, fast years.

To a certain extent, this year’s Blue Roast was just what I expected. As much as I didn’t want to spoil myself with any Blue Roast details, I have been to one before this. Although this was the case, the feeling of the event being dedicated to the batch you’re part of was very different from the feeling of just attending it for a friend. For the record, I wasn’t expecting that it was going to be this fun! :)

Big ass SMART lantern

I’m not that tall, okay. Ground wasn’t flat :)

Hello, Rem! :)

My brother from another made it! Feeling senior ulit? :) )

Fille and Tec :)

Awesome Pasco is AWESOME! Had a picture taken with our Philo prof :D

In the middle of the event, all seniors were given one free blue rose. It is part of the tradition for the seniors to give their blue rose to the person: a) who made an impact in their college life; b) they want to confess their feelings to, or; c) they really love. I’m not sure if these are the right descriptions, but to make things simple, blue rose is meant to be given to a person who’s very special to you.

When the roses were starting to be distributed to the students, PANIC MODE: ON. Honestly, I don’t like-like anyone right now–and even if I did decide to give it to a friend who have made an impact in my college life, THERE ARE JUST SO MANY OF THEM. Gah. Blue rose, y u make things so complicated?! I actually wanted to buy extra roses and just shuffle the free [special] rose with everything else, but it just felt wrong. So, I decided to give my blue rose to JJ [eh, wala kaming picture together :( ] because he was the one who made most impact in me. Before anything else, JJ’s a really good friend, alright? He’s been there through ups and downs, which not everyone would do. I really appreciate his efforts in always trying to stand by my side–in good times and bad times. For that, he deserves my blue rose :)

Sadly, Dzi loses her blue rose before she was able to give it to someone else :(

Blue Rose :)

Jem gives her blue rose to Flavie! :) YIIIE :) ) #kidding

Best friends :D

Hands down to this brave guy (Gretch’s friend) who went up the stage to announce who he was giving his blue rose to :)

Four years would not have been the same without the four of you. Lam niyo na yun kung bakit. We might have drifted apart, but we always find a way to catch up and act like we still talk each and every day. We stuck with each other no matter how bad things went and you girls always made me feel that I will always have you by my side. Thank you. Sorry. I LOVE YOU <3 106 forever and ever, AMEN :)

Four girls <3 106.

OC-iest of them all! :D

Pinakamalakas mang-trip :) )

A, finish your food ;)

[Can't find a picture of me with Sharah] The Talkative one :>

The person I can dance with anywhere even without music,
The person who’s willing to stay up all night with you while eating cup noodles,
The person who treated me like I was part of her family, and;
The person who I’ve known forever and made beach volleyball fun:
You girls are awesome :D

After party [este, dinner] at Shakey’s with awesome Rico Blanco :)

I should definitely remember to thank the organizers someday :) Thanks to Gretch for the awesome pictures!
