Photo Dump: INSTAGRAM

Okay, okay. I admit it. Ever since I bought a new phone, I became addicted to Instagram. I’m now INSTAGRAMHOLIC :> Since I wasn’t able to share you anything for the past couple of months, I’ve decided to post my instagram photos and put captions in them. Look at it as if I was telling you guys a story. Brace yourself, a lot of photos coming your way!

Went to Ateneo to visit undergrad friends and ended up attending the IAC GA for team captains. Can’t let go? : )

Meet Raina’s frog. Expect more of it because she likes drawing it on a loooot of things. Oh, and, look! There’s my “become a millionaire by 2013″ post-it : )

It’s been so long since I stared at myself on the mirror. I realized my hair was long enough to curl! I’ve decided to curl my hair before going to work. TADAA!

I’m not vain. I just like taking pictures of myself at 4 in the morning with goofy glasses when I can’t sleep.

I was so happy when I saw that our Ateneo Open Facebook page reached 1000 likes. I can’t express enough thank yous to everyone who supported us.

What I always ate and drank in Starbucks back in college: Honey Glazed Donut and Basic Black Iced Tea. Ever since I started working, I didn’t have the time to actually chill in Starbucks. While waiting for Erica’s shift to be over, I took advantage of the opportunity to bring back old habits!

Our favorite past time in the office: play Foosball. I’ve seen this in the movies, but I never thought the day will come when I will play with this myself. Fun to play with competitive friends : )

For the nth time in BARAS! We had a little grocery before leaving the civilization. I’m not sure what we were trying to buy at that time. Chips + Liquor + Softdrinks + Yakult + Cookies = ????

This is the first time I treated my family to lunch. It was my first paycheck and I think it is NECESSARY to treat everyone important in your life. P.S. Don’t tell your friends when you’re getting your first paycheck ; )

How we usually start our day at work: meeting in the pantry. This is when we talk about our planned trips and rants from the day before. #Ateneanofficemates

We had a “corporate” photo shoot for the OpEx team. I wonder where our photos are?

Oh, here’s the frog girl. In case you’re wondering what she looks like : ) BTW, she’s also El Presidente of our “dinner club”, named after our boss.

This is my new bestfriend. It doesn’t make me want to puke like Bacardi. It doesn’t make me feel dizzy like Jose Cuervo. It also doesn’t make my tummy bigger like Beer. Hello, Tequila Rose : )

The month I learned to play POKER. I just couldn’t stop O_O

I’ve always been the Serena type when it comes to hair and clothes. I just wanted to try Blair’s style for one night; hence, le headband.

Sometimes, I took pictures of my office clothes too! I forgot why, though.

Nothing makes you happier than hearing your boss saying, “who wants starbucks? My treat.” WUHOO. Health Team is very happy : )

All spent on Mom and Tina’s. Let me tell you something: IT WAS WORTH IT. I remember going back there twice in the same week.

Definitely missed this one. We used to see each other everyday because of training schedule and sleepovers. That reminds me… we should have one again soon!

There was a time I hated you because of BAD service, but you do know that I still love you right? I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of you.

More office clothes!

This is A. She’s my bebe. I don’t know what happened, but now she looks like a Siopao!

I was wearing plain colors that day. Just wanted to try out the black and white effect on the picture and see if there was a difference.

Some of the perks from being an OpEx member : ) #freebies

Craving for Yakiniku or any kind of Japanese food? Try Kobe-Kan! It’s along President’s Ave near B.F. Homes.

I’ve been collecting you for six years. Can’t wait for my seventh and fill it with new memories.

One of my worst haircuts ever. I told the hairstylist to cut my hair not more than 3 inches shorter. I guess he didn’t feel like following instructions since he cut my hair 6 inches shorter than it was before. I don’t even like the style.

…in the heat of summer sunshine, I miss you.

While walking around Alabang Town Center, my mom and I got attracted to this cake shop because of their delicate and beautiful cake designs. Little did we know that they didn’t taste as good as they looked. Too bad.

Bought this two months ago thinking I had the time to read. Apparently, I did not. So, it’s still in my bookshelf waiting to be opened.

Okay, I have to stop now. I’ll just probably do a part two or something. I got carried away and didn’t notice the time. I actually enjoyed looking at old photos and trying to remember what happened back then. Ahh.. life.

Hope you enjoyed the photos too! :)

The “BLUE” meets “GREEN”

I’m now officially a BUM. Since seniors take their finals a month earlier than the undergrads, we have no choice but to entertain ourselves while waiting for graduation–in my case, just to wait for summer classes to start. So, the day is divided into two parts: lunch at Japonica and a visit to Taft in the afternoon. I thought that it was the perfect opportunity for new friends to finally meet my old friends.

Lunch at Japonica
So, Kyle and JJ met some of my friends from high school. While Kc brought Rc with her, Dan brought Nina with her. It was like, us, bringing new people to the table and making them part of our old lives. I think that’s the best part of having new and old friends; when they learn to be friends with each other as well. Kc and Rc are from UST, while Nina and Dan are from CSB. Nina’s first time to eat Magnum! :)

Throwing ice at each other :) ))

TAFT: Blast from the past!
After lunch, the three of us, JJ, Kyle, and I, went straight to Taft to meet the A, Jem, Sharah, and Glenda. I don’t remember how we ended up with that plan, but it sounded fun to all of us. After all, we were getting tired of the Katipunan set-up. While waiting for the other four, I met with a few La Salle friends, saw old schoolmates and teammates, and played billiards with the two boys. Here’s the funny thing, when we got tired of billiards and had nothing else to do, we randomly went inside the computer shop and found BATTLE REALMS. T*ng*n*!! Childhood! :) After a while, the four girls arrived and it was time to partaaay–okay, I’m just kidding. We didn’t party, haha! We just had a few drinks and ate isaw. BEEER POOOOONG :)

Hi, Trix! PEZ :) )

Oh yeaaah! Taft Tuesdays? :)
Definitely doing this again!

ME: When Bored

The A-Fair

The first-ever Ateneo de Manila University fair was held last January 14-15, 2012 at the grounds of the university. One a scale of 1 to 10, comparing it to past school fairs I have been to, Ateneo’s first university fair can be ranked somewhere between 5 and 6. Even though it was promoted through different types of advertisements, not many students went to the fair. Some were still busy with school (especially the seniors who are about to take their finals in a month), while some didn’t even know the exact date of the fair. Core team wasn’t able to put much things to do in the fair. I mean, aside from the fact that Ateneo looked perfectly normal added the stalls and booths around the campus, it looked like it was an organization fund raising event. An Atenean would know that it is usual to have stalls and booths around the school because of the events organized by different organizations, just like another day of JSEC challenge or probably a bazaar fixed by the COA team. More students were able to attend the first day of the fair because of curiosity and some happened to be in school because they had class in the morning. Basically, it was nothing W-O-W. Although, if I take into account that this is the first time the student body had arranged something like this, I’ll probably give it an 8.5. After all, it was a good way to bond with your kabarkadas.

The most enjoyable part of the fair was the bull ride booth where students were allowed to ride the bull as long as they can FOR FREE. Spent the first day of the fair with the AWVT and the second day with AVC. Among my friends, record holder was Gretch for riding the bull for more than a minute. Vic, Gretch, JJ, and Dzi were four brave souls who tried the activity.

Aside from the bull ride booth, most of the time was spent in the “Blue Banchetto” area where we had our very own mini-Mercato. I remember someone saying, “Bakit ‘di na lang everyday yung kainan? Parang mas masayang version ng caf!” Well, it really was! Everything I ate tasted good. It was also fun hanging out in the Colayco-turned-Arcade Pavillion. It is a place for friends who enjoy Time Zone games. Although it was a fun day spent with friends, I ended up going home early on the second day because we ran out of things to do and ended up getting bored.

Pictures from the A-Fair: Kim Manly and Jeggy Filart getting married in front of the pa-cool priest! Mr. and Mrs. Jeggy Filart!

I don’t get how in the world this sunflower ended up with me. I thought we were leaving it in JJ’s car as a display :) ) Spent almost P50 playing catch the stuffed toy in the Arcade area to get the sunflower from Plants VS. Zombies. After so many tries, Vic was finally able to get it!

In other news, good luck to all who took the ACET! I heard the results are out ;)

Meet BENGY: the White Bengal Tiger

I’m uploading some of the pictures I took with Bengy, the White Bengal Tiger, which I got from my last visit in Japan.

I really have this thing for white tigers. I think the first time they caught my attention was when I was watching a show form Discovery Channel. They looked so cute and cuddly–more than polar bears can ever be FOR ME. When I went to Japan last year, I decided to pay a visit to my most favorite animal brought home this stuffed toy. Earlier today, I got so bored and decided to take some photos of me with Bengy!

P.S. Read the post before this for the reference of Bengy’s name–which I super don’t like.

P.P.S. I don’t like the name “Bengy” AT ALL.
