I AM A VERY IMPATIENT PERSON.
Impatience, one defect of mine that I find hard to control despite knowing its negative meaning to many. I hate waiting for my driver whenever I ask him to pick me up (bratinella), I don’t like lining up for something I don’t really find necessary anyway, and I never attend school activities that I find useless. BUT this doesn’t only mean the failure to be able to wait for delayed gratification, which is usually the connotation that is being associated with the word, but also my impatience for something to happen when I know that there’s something I can do to speed up the process. To a certain extent, this is a good thing because it helps me achieve something greater, something I didn’t know I was capable in the first place. It’s building my character in a way since I stop relying on others and start doing things on my own.
Impatience = satisfaction
Yeah, yeah. I sound like a horrible person, don’t I? But believe it or not, this characteristic led me to be the president of AVC, become a project head for ACTM, discover that I have talents other than sports, push my limits and begin challenging my boundaries, and find my capabilities that were beyond to anyone’s knowledge. Now it doesn’t sound so bad at all, does it? I guess I would have never done great things and met awesome people who are in my life right now without being patient.
I owe impatience a lot.
